Forres is easy to find as we sit alongside the A96 in the heart of Moray close to the two of the most beautiful treelined beaches in Scotland, Rosile and Culbin. Connected by excellent road network, rail and only a short hop from `Inverness Airport’ with it’s international connections, it’s never been easier to find this jewel in the crown of Scotland.

The attractive town of Forres is one of Scotland’s oldest small towns.
Situated in Moray, about 27 miles north east of the Highland capital of Inverness, the town boasts a classic castle with impressive, (award winning) parks and gardens containing outstanding floral sculptures.
Home to a number of craft shops and art galleries, Forres and the surrounding area hosts a number of cultural events, including the carnival style Culture Day and bi-annual Findhorn Bay Arts Festival in September. In recognition of the communities’ artistic spirit, the Forres area, which also includes Findhorn, Brodie, and Alves has won a 2015 Creative Place Award.
Around 4 miles west of Forres is the 16th century Brodie Castle which has gorgeous grounds, and is blooming with beautiful flowers in season. South of the town, the River Findhorn meanders through this area of great natural beauty with several picnic spots to enjoy on a great family day out.
